Thermoplastics

Pervo Thermoplastic is delivered as a 100% "solid" (non-volatile) product. To apply, it is heated up to 350 - 425 degrees Fahrenheit. At that temperature it enters a liquid (molten) state. Upon application Pervo Thermoplastic cools and quickly returns to solid state. In just a few minutes it becomes "no-track". This means that Pervo Thermoplastic can be opened to traffic shortly after being applied, insuring minimal traffic interruptions.

Pervo Thermoplastic material is of such quality and reliable consistency that your productivity and application quality are assured. Simply load your kettle, heat and go to work. As a "long line" marking material or in the intersection, Pervo Thermoplastic will last for years while maintaining excellent wet-night retro reflectance and superb color.

1. ALKID FORMULATIONS
Alkid thermoplastic is formulated using natural resins form wood derivatives. The natural resins used deliver excellent resistance to degradation by drippings of petroleum based products (gasoline, oil, antifreeze, etc.). This characteristic makes Alkyd thermoplastic an excellent choice for "legend" markings, intersections, crosswalks, and in high traffic areas. And it is easy to apply with proper equipment.

2. HYDROCARBON FORMULATIONS
Hydrocarbon thermoplastic is formulated using synthetic and petroleum based resins. Hydrocarbon thermoplastic can be built up from 30 to 90 miles, delivering excellent wear characteristics. Easy to apply by die box, ribbon gun or spray gun, hydrocarbon thermo is a good choice for use anywhere a durable product is needed. Whether in intersections, for stenciling or for long line work, hydrocarbon thermo can hold up for many years.
